This is the personal story of a courageous man named Ira Marxe. Ira has passed on now but he beat the odds of heart failure and lived a full, rich life long after he should have died. If you suspect you might have congestive heart failure, you will need to provide a very detailed medical history and family health history to your doctor. Medical Tests that may be performed before your doctor will give a diagnosis of congestive heart failure include an electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiogram (ultrasound). Now, back to Ira's story........
After a complete physical, my mainstream doctor immediately wanted to put me on heart disease statin drugs like Zocor or Lipitor plus diuretics...and I politely refused.
You see, my wife was on the faculty of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and she knew what kinds of harmful side effects these types of drugs can produce and wasn't happy with the idea of me taking any of these drugs. I was determined not to go in that direction because I knew that all these drugs would only mask my symptoms of heart disease and would not heal anything.
Deep down in my heart (no pun intended) I knew there had to be a better way to solve my problem so my decision was to look for a natural alternative...regardless of how long it took...because my personal health was on the line and the clock was ticking.
